This week's recipe required attention to detail, patience, and a bit of courage. When we told the kids they'd be making crepes ("the advanced version of pancakes, from France") many of them doubted their ability and were clearly uneasy about jumping in. But a few crepes in, after getting past some messy first tries, you'd have thought they'd been making crepes for years.

The kids really focused on presentation this week, as they carefully folded either bananas or strawberries into each crepe before topping them with either blueberry or mango sauce. It was great to see how impressed with themselves they all were as they dug in!
